Ok, these pictures finish off April. Does it make sense that I'm trying to catch grandparents and long distance family up by blog by posting pics from April when we actually got to see most of them in June???? Anyway, these were cute so I had to share. :) Mimi sent these neat egg cookies for us to decorate for Easter. Can you see the assortment of crosses, tombs and Chicka Chicka Boom Boom trees? Ethan was "stuck" on CCBB for quite awhile. Everything from the empty tomb to this letter puzzle was turned into a CCBB tree for Ethan to sing the song and act it out. Thankfully he's come out of that. Still mentions it occasionally but he's not locked in on it. He has to get points for creativity though!! :) It's really funny to see his play. It is entertaining to watch. His current fave is acting out "the claw" scene from Toy Story. He puts all his little character friends on a blanket and sets up red and green Legos as the power buttons and uses them to act out this scene. We can't help but laugh when he says, "WE'RE NOT WORTHY!!" (This is from the game on the Toy Story bonus features.) He's so funny! :)It WAS neat to see that they decorated the cookies with the true meaning of Easter. We just said decorate.....and with the exception of the CCBB tree, it was all centered on Jesus' Resurrection!
